TEST LAB

Before anything is sold at True Aura, it goes through the Test Lab. We publish what we're testing, the criteria it has to meet, and what happened — including the products that fail.

How a product moves through the lab

• Scouted — we found a product worth a closer look.

• Testing — samples are in hand and being tested against published criteria.

• Passed — it met every criterion.

• Failed — it didn't. We say so, and we don't sell it.

• Launched — it passed and is available in our shop.

Now in the lab: Back-Care Shower Ritual

Status: Scouted. Testing starts when samples arrive. Nothing is for sale yet.

We're looking for the best way to wash the whole back — the part a regular loofah never reaches. These are the criteria it has to meet:

• Reach — covers the whole back across different heights and shoulder mobility.

• Drying — how long it stays wet after a shower.

• Texture — not too rough, not too soft.

• Durability — keeps its shape, knots and stretch after weeks of use.

• Washability — survives machine-wash cycles without bleeding color or holding odor.

• Origin & materials — stated only when we can document them.

What we won't do

• Sell something that fails our tests.

• Claim a product treats any skin condition.

• Call something "authentic" or state where it's made without proof.
